Herbal Consultations

The form of herbalism I practice is called energetic herbalism, as taught to me by Karyn and Sarah at the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine. It is holistic, and works with the ways the plant medicine affects our physical body and our energetic body, which I think of as our spirit, or soul. In the intake we map your emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health background, and create a plan for your personal health journey with the plants. I approach the plants as sacred medicine- they are much more than herbal pharmaceuticals. They are our teachers, allies, and beloved community. In this kind of healing practice I encourage you to be open to connecting deeply with the plants. All sessions are completely confidential.

Plant medicine is helpful for supporting with a wide range of conditions. These are some of the areas where I have the most experience: * Strengthening immunity * Improving digestion * Relieving allergies * Encouraging restful sleep * Creating emotional balance when there is anxiety, stress, worry, sadness or fear * Releasing trauma * Reducing the impact of chronic pain and autoimmune conditions * Balancing menstrual irregularity, pain and other related symptoms * Supporting the health of animal companions * Reconnecting with the Earth and your own cultural practices of healing with plant medicine |

COST & TIME
Initial Intake 1.5 hours long, $90-140 sliding scale, NOTAFLOF* Follow up Sessions 1 hour long, *$75-100 sliding scale, NOTAFLOF* Acute Care Sessions 30 minutes, pay what you can Medicine $10 an ounce of tincture $2.50-5.00 per oz of tea $5-10 an ounce for vinegars, glycerites and oils You will receive between 1 to 4 ounces of medicine per visit, depending on your needs. |
ABOUT MY RATES
My rates have developed out of a lot of different conversations. It is important to me to have a rate that's financially accessible to my clients, and fair to other practitioners who are also making their living through this work. My sliding scale rates reflect my commitment to try and meet both those needs. I believe everyone should have access to medicine, so if these rates don't work for you, you are always welcome to pay what you can, and I also value trades. *NOTAFLOF- No One Turned Away for Lack of Funds |
